Start with game viewing in the beautiful Moremi Reserve of the Okavango Delta and continue to the vast Chobe Park, renowned for its large elephant herds.
Itinerary
Day 01-02:
Maun Lodge is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River and the doorstep to the famous Okavango Delta. Located only 4 km from Maun International Airport and 2.5 km from the village center and is ideally positioned for both business and holiday visitors. Accommodation consists of 30 double rooms, 2 of which are suitable for the physically challenged, 20 twin and 4 family rooms, all air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms, an extensive bouquet of satellite television, tea and coffee facilities, room and laundry services. There's also 10 deluxe riverfront rooms and 2 Presidential suites, all with private verandas, en-suite and fully air-conditioned. For those on a limited budget, there are 12 thatched chalets that are excellent value for money, the chalets are en-suite, fully air-conditioned, have tea & coffee facilities and 8 DSTV channels. Eight of the chalets cater to families with two beds and a double sleeper couch. The remaining four have two beds each.

Day 03:
Peering out beneath giant ebony trees, Camp Moremi brings true meaning to the word safari in the Xaxanaka area of the Moremi Game Reserve. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, both in the morning and late afternoons, offer frequent sightings of lion, leopard, and cheetah as well as wild dogs. Alternatively, guests can explore the Xaxanaka Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat.

Day 04:
The Natural Place to Stay There is a special wilderness area, encircled by the Erongo Mountains, where the desert, mountain, and bushveld ecosystems combine. Here, in a secluded valley, you will find twelve luxury tented chalets in a dramatic setting of granite boulders and breathtaking views. Savuti provides front-row seats to amazing wildlife viewing and the mysteries of the ebb and flow of the Savute Channel waters. Perched high on the banks of the Channel, the camp looks down on a miraculous ribbon of territory that has been both savannah and river over the last few years. Whether experienced in a dry, wet or transitional phase, the area has always been renowned for its game viewing. It holds a magnetic attraction for elephants, amongst other plains game and predators. Large canvas-and-thatch rooms (including a family unit) face the channel, and activities vary with the changes in the landscape.

Day 05-06:

Counter-balancing the wilderness is restful, air-conditioned, en-suite lodgings. Graceful high arches, quarry tiled floors, and barrel-vaulted ceilings create an atmosphere of cool tranquillity. Other facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma area, a stylish bar with an outside terrace, an expansive deck offering magnificent views over the Chobe River as well as conference facilities for business travelers. All meals are catered for in various locations throughout the lodge including the terrace, boma and riverfront deck. Each of Chobe Game Lodge's 4 luxury suites has an individual plunge pool set on a private terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the endless landscape and open plains. Graceful high arches, quarry tiled floors, and barrel-vaulted ceilings create an atmosphere of cool tranquillity. All 46 rooms are tastefully furnished, each room with handcrafted Rhodesian teak furniture and walls decorated with original African carvings and paintings.

Spectacularly set in a lush riverine environment, The Royal Livingstone at the Victoria Falls in Zambia evokes Victorian elegance and colonial traditions in impeccable style. All of the hotel’s luxury rooms and suites feature a private veranda with spectacular views of the mighty Zambezi River. The sights and sounds of river life can be soaked up as you laze in a hammock, enjoy a massage in a waterfront gazebo, or cool off in the pool. Sip refreshments in a lounge that displays the paintings of Sir David Livingstone. Partake in charming high tea rituals, and later sundowners on a deck overlooking Victoria Falls. Savour African and European fine dining, followed by nightcaps under the stars.
