About Trip:
The experience that we recommend you to live allows you to get to know this beautiful village, with guided tours of the Castle, the Diocesan Museum and the square in front of it where also the Cathedral and the Baptistery overlook. The Castle, imposing and majestic, consists of a square keep with four corner towers, surrounded by massive crenelated walls and surrounded on three sides by a moat. The Diocesan Museum is housed in the Archbishop's Palace and inside you can admire the "treasure of the Cathedral" consisting of sacred vestments and sacred furnishings, ecclesiastical documents, valuable paintings and more. Piazza Campo is in the shape of an ellipse, in the middle of which you can admire the wind rose, while around there are a series of symbols that recall scientific knowledge: alchemical symbols, the cycle of gold, metals, time and seasons. Next to the Cathedral, dedicated to Santa Anastasia, is the Baptistery, the oldest Byzantine building in Calabria.
